Hampton Textile Printing has been committed to reducing our carbon footprint since our inception in 1975.  When it comes to the environment, sustainability and responsibilities towards our community, we are seeking a better environmental path.

At Hampton we are committed to improving our environment by

  • Using aqueous(water) based inks
  • Operating an in-house waste water treatment system that cleans and filters our water to remove dye particles. 
  • Using paper made from sustainable and renewable sources which are Forest Stewardship Council (FCS) certified.
  • Using a computer controlled return dye system that reuses dye to create other colors.
  • Recycling our spent transfer paper to other markets
  • Collecting our waste fabric to be recycled to other markets
  • Collecting office paper, cardboard, aluminum and plastic inside our plant for recycling

What makes Hampton’s paper printing different from other printing operations?

  • We use no solvents (which emit VOC’s) in our paper printing process. 
  • Our inks are aqueous based allowing us cleanup with no chemicals. 
  • We recycle our cooling water to wash our equipment
  • We use timers and electric control shut off valves to conserve water
  • Clean, filtered water is returned to our city supplied system

Hampton can source and print 100% Polyester fabric made from recycled PET

Hampton can source fabrics made from recycled polyester for your print projects.  By using post-consumer polyester we reduce the amount of PET plastic materials (such as those used for bottled water) in our landfills. PET is derived from crude oil and PET’s rapid growth combined with a short life cycle, means PET poses a serious problem ecologically.

Hampton Textile Printing has been a leader in creating beautiful and colorful prints for over 30 years.  We are always seeking new and better ways to reduce any waste in our facility by encouraging ideas from our employees, our most valuable asset.  We are a green print company striving to protect our community for future generations.
